I post/reblog a lot of: Arashi, Kanjani8, Perfume, Japanese actresses, ~fashion and design~, things that I read that make me angry, We Got Married, j/kdramas, USian TV shows, and whatever I happen to have a passing fancy with. It also reminds me a bit of "Mars" (Taiwanese drama) because of how two lonely people decide to become each other's family.
Ooh, I’ll have to add Dare Yori mo to my list because I eat up stuff like that! And I’ve meant to watch Mars, I even started downloading it, but the subs wouldn’t work on my comp and I couldn’t find alternate files in the now barren internet. :( I can totally see that comparison from what I know of it though.
I watch a lotttt of dramas that subvert traditional gender roles because… I love that. ♥ More than noona romances, Jun to Ai reminds me of the recent jdramas I’ve been watching that take age out of the equation: Zenkai Girl, Boys on the Run, Osozaki no Himawari (to an extent). I think in the post-bubble economy with soushoku danshi and hikikomori and wota, there’s a much wider representation of… well, at least masculinity. Which I like. :)
